Ruth is the founding director of Turquoise Insight, a consultancy specialising in business and personal change. Ruth is passionate about helping individuals and organizations reach their full potential through mentoring.

Ruth spent over 20 years working in the public sector, specializing in Strategy development, Customer Relationship Management and Innovation, Marketing and Public Affairs. She also has a long history in volunteering with charities where she has specialized in mentoring, strategy, leadership development and fundraising. Currently she is a director of the Hutchesons Education Trust, director and chair of Mission Scotland and trustee of the Scottish Bible Society and Pacific Partnership Trust. She is also involved in raising awareness of the plight of Dalit women (untouchables) in India.
